Getting and comparing quotes

Each insurer in Morocco sets its own prices, so the same cover can cost very different amounts. Ask two or three of them with the same details, in writing, and compare more than the price.

Where to get a quote

ChannelHow it worksKeep in mind
An insurer's websiteSome insurers price a car, a home or a trip online in a few minutesYou see one insurer's price only. Check what the formula includes before you pay
An agentGives the price of one insurer, in person or by phoneAsk agents of two different insurers
A brokerAsks several insurers for you and compares their answersAsk which insurers were consulted
Your bankQuotes cover tied to a loan, savings and some home policiesYou can ask other insurers for the same cover
A comparison websiteCollects your details and passes them to insurers or to a brokerBefore you give your details, check that the site names the licensed broker behind it, and find that broker on the ACAPS map

A quote is free and does not commit you. Ask for it in writing, with the insurer's name, the guarantees and the date until which the price is valid.

Online quotes from insurers

These services were checked in October 2026. Companies that are not listed give quotes through their agents and branches.

An online price is the price of the formula you selected. A car quote that looks cheap often covers liability only.

Prepare your request

Fill in the form once, then send the same message to two or three agents or brokers, so that their answers can be compared. You can find licensed offices near you on the ACAPS map. Agents usually work in French or Arabic, so choose the language of the message accordingly.

Questions

Is a quote binding?

Not for you. The insurer is bound by the price until the date written on the quote, provided the details you gave are correct.

Will someone call me after an online quote?

Often, yes. Online forms usually ask for a phone number, and an advisor may call to complete the subscription. You remain free to say no.

Should I give my real details?

Yes. A price built on wrong details is not the price you will pay, and a false statement can reduce a payout later. Give what is asked and no more: an identity card number is not needed for a quote.

Can a broker get me a better price than the insurer itself?

Sometimes. A broker can compare several insurers and negotiate, especially for business risks. The broker's commission is usually included in the premium.

I found a cheaper offer. Can I change insurer now?

At the end of each year of cover, with the notice written in your contract. See ending a contract.

Why do two insurers give such different prices?

Each sets its own tariff and judges risks in its own way. Your claims record, your city, the values you declare and the deductibles you choose also change the result.
